How do Storm Chasers need to act?
Storm chasers have very unique personalities when compared to other jobs. It takes an attitude that enjoys cooperation and independence to be successful at the job. Cooperation to work with fellow Chasing peers, independence to take the initiative and make critical choices by themselves. It's best to get into as many writing, speaking, and math classes as possible, because part of Storm Chasing is communicating your results to other people. It takes math and physics to understand how a tornado functions, and where it will be heading. A true chaser is one who is composed of a few ingredients-
- Brave- Courage to chase the deadliest of storms
- Smart- Can make rational choices at desperate times
- Selfless- A motivation to help save the public
- Sharing- Willing to share the collected info
